There are several reasons you want to grow your fan base on your Facebook Fan Page. First, you should understand what someone is really saying when they click 'like' on your Fan Page. They're saying 'I like what you're saying, selling, offering or doing'. They approve!
(1) They're giving you permission to market directly to them, IF your message is on topic, and relevant. Don't post personal details, political or religious messages unless they pertain to your topic specifically. Your fans do not need to know where you live and who your political party is!
