Eagle Wings Ranch
Eagles' Wings Ranch and Horse Ministries is a
not-for-profit organization, formed with two primary goals. One, we
want to help people better relate with theor horse, and two, we want to
help people have a deep, abiding personal relationship with the Lord
God. Eagles' Wings is located in Mossy Head, Florida, near the historic
town of Defuniak Springs, a community located about 50 miles east of
Pensacola, Florida.
Eages' Wings gets its name from the Bible. In Isaiah
40:31, God's Word tells us, "but those who hope in the LORD will renew
their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, "They will run and
not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." The "they" refers to
all people who place their trust in the living God, and who have a
personal relationship with God, through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
For us, we believe that God's Word teaches that being a
Christian is not about religion, going inside a particular building, or
trying to help yourself, but responding to God's offer of grace and
mercy which results in our adoption as His children into His eternal
family. It's all about a personal relationship that is real, and really
changes us from the inside out.
